Access consultants are concerned with solving accessibility issues in the built environment, and improving access options for people with a disability. The Access Consulting project is a transition of CPP40811 Certificate IV in Access Consulting and CPP50711 Diploma of Access Consulting to the Standards for Training Packages 2012.

Project status

The Case for Endorsement has been reviewed by State Training Authorities (STAs) and has been lodged to the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE). It is anticipated that the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) will consider the Case for Endorsement on 23 February 2021 for implementation.

Any report(s) by exemption put forward by an STA have been included in the Case for Endorsement to support the AISC's consideration of the project.
