The Australian Government is continuing to tackle urgent workforce needs, most recently through fast-tracked new and updated training for the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. New skill sets have been endorsed to help address skill needs in cyber incident threat detection and prevention, cyber incident response, and cyber security strategy and governance, as well as in the areas of cloud computing, data analytics, and the Internet of Things. This will support the delivery of cyber security and digital training for many workers in the ICT sector.
